‘Yard 5′ at Blue Door Bicycles

We are delighted to be offering a range of juices, smoothies, fairtrade teas and coffees and light refreshments at the shop.

The new juice bar is called ‘Yard 5′ as it is the former yard at the rear of 5 Central Hill. Our winter opening hours are

10am – 5pm Saturdays

10.30am – 4.30pm Sundays

Free WiFi in Yard 5.

This is not the first time this area has been a food premises. 100 years ago ‘Yard 5′ was a dairy (we still have the tiles) – we have not yet brought back the cows.  Click here to read more about the history of the shop.

Apart from buying good quality drink and food, you will be able to ready cycling magazines and books and relax in informal surroundings. If you are feeling a bit more energetic, you can pedal your own smoothie on our our cycle smoothie machine.

We are giving some of our juices bike themed names – including the ‘Yellow Jersey’ and a ‘Green Jersey’.

We also offer cards and gifts with a cycle theme.
