Carl’s toughest ride

Sponsored rider Carl has just cycled the South Downs in what he describes as his toughest ride. Carl is an experienced road rider and duathlete – but he’s also an accomplished off roader.

It may look straight forward here – but 100 miles of slippery chalk and flint – combined with a block headwind and rain for the last 70 and climbing 3,500 metres sounds pretty heavy to me!
